7th July 2010 ...a busy day
Maddie and Chelsea both decided that they would deliver their puppies today - not only on the same day,...but at exactly the same time!...maybe they thought it was a competition?
For a while it was neck & neck at 2 each, but then Maddie pulled away and the game ended 6 - 2 to Maddie.
I was glad when the final whistle went and I could get some sleep ^_^
Maddie News, 8th June 2010
Bitcon Affinity For Shansart (Maddie) has not been shown for a while due to lack of coat, so having decided to mate her again, we are hoping for a litter in July.
Shropshire Gundog Society, 30th May 2010
Didn't she do well, while Alfie was at home enjoying a break from showing, Berry was enjoying the day with us at Whitchurch for the Shropshire Gundog Society Open Show where, after winning her class, she went on to win BPIB.
National Dog Show, 8th May 2010
Berry's first big show, having just stepped up to puppy class from minor puppy, and in a strong class she was placed Reserve by judge Mrs Betty Rice-Stringer. I am so pleased and look forward to campaigning Berry in the year ahead.
Crufts, 14th March 2010
Fun & friends at Crufts this year. A big thanks to Sue Shinkfield for presenting Lulu for me under judge Mr Frank Kane whilst I was concurrently presenting Alfie under Mrs Sue Pudney in the adjacent ring.
Home Counties Cocker Club, Breed Championship Show, 14th February 2010
A Valetines Day early start to drive to Slough for the breed show. Not so much hearts and flowers, more bleary eyes and bacon rolls.
Alfie moved nicely today, striding out with wagging tail to get Second in Junior Dog - Any Other Colour and Reserve in Junior Dog - Any Colour, under Judge Mr John Mace (Fonesse).
Manchester Dog Show Society, General Championship Show, 24th January 2010
Had a super day at Manchester Champ show. It was great to catch up with friends after Christmas and all that snow.
Alfie was placed third in Junior Dog under judge Mrs D Grice, which I was really pleased with and although Lulu was unplaced in her class it didn't seem to bother her since her tail was wagging all day!
The Cocker Spaniel Club Puppy & Veteran Callenge Event, Yew Tree Lodge Hotel, Kegworth, 3rd January 2010
We had a wonderful day out at this years challenge event with Alfie, it made a very enjoyable start to the New Year. Alfie presented himself nicely amongst very good company in the knock-out challenge format.
Our thanks to the commitee for an exceptionally well organised event...and a very pleasant day out with friends.
